Lawless Upcycling’s main custom service is creating completely new and custom items that will be exactly to your specifications. Such items include home furnishings and costumes/props. Check out the “Past Creations & Costumes” page for examples to help inspire your customization requests and create your dream piece.

This custom service includes:

1) FREE initial consultation with Annie;

2) Follow up on the consultation to discuss design, price and timing;

3) Creating; and

4) Delivery of furnishings and photos of the build process.

If you just want to modify an existing Lawless Upcycling item, you can do that by purchasing the item in the “Shop” page and then using the “Contact” page to discuss what modifications you want.

KIDS BIRTHDAY PARTIES

Your kid and their friends can have their own upcycling party where they get to make whatever they want from a wide array of discarded materials, while at the same time being environmentally conscious. Such materials and all needed tools and supplies are provided.

Lawless Upcycling can tailor the party so to ensure your kid enjoys their birthday celebration. Initial consultation is free, during which a price range will be discussed for the party (minimum of $250). Price factors include the type and amount of materials I need to source, organize and bring, and the planned activity or event.

“Akhil turned 6 and celebrated by building ‘Imagination City’!

At his upcycled build party, he and his friends used all kinds of reclaimed materials to dream up and construct their own little city—skyscrapers, neighborhoods, and plenty of wonderfully mysterious structures that only kids could invent. Watching them let their imaginations run wild was pretty magical.

A huge thank you to my good friend Annie Ro—someone I’ve been dreaming and scheming with for more than 20 years. She recently launched an upcycling business and in addition to creating beautiful things, she’s on a mission to help kids engage creatively and think differently about the materials around them.

If you have a creative home project, or are curious what your kid can do with a hot glue gun and the most unpredictable assortment of upcycled materials she keeps in her garage, she’s your person.

I’m so grateful she brought her magic to this party and helped make Akhil’s budding urban planner dreams come to life!”

Akhil loves hotels so I before the party I made him his own hotel, which I did in stages so I could use it as an example to help spark the kids’ creativity about potential ways to use the materials.

I can create and facilitate numerous types of workshops and classes that can be customized to whatever you want, either in my own workshop or potentially at a location of your choosing. Free initial consultation, during which we will discuss what you want and the estimated price.
